Could this be a baby shrimp??

What are these green things??

This picture has three different things. The top right has a sponge?? Any ID for the type?
The middle appears to be a worm? Good or bad?
The left is interesting. Its housing appears to be like white shell pieces and a long white string(s) comes out of the opening. You can see the strings in the picture. What could this be??

amphipod if you want to be technical...

In the second pic are you talking about the green things?
If so, I have no idea either. Maybe seaweed of some sort? I don't think it is a shrimp....

the bristle worm can sting you trust me dont touch it! i still have spines in my fingers and its been weeks, lol. as far as them being good or bad the jury is out. i think a few are ok . the real downside is that they can get very big. i mean 4 feet big and then they will eat fish inverts and corals. if you have shrimp and crabs in your tank these worms will be food, if not they can feed on detrious and get very large and very mean.

The green I recognize...it is algae..to be sure touch it, it will feel like plastic, if it is what I am thinking. It overlaps and crosses itself and builds up, usually I see it accompanied by bubble (marble sized) algae

The bristle worm you have is fine, the bristles can stick in your skin but I have not had any adverse effects from them in fact I can't even feel them. That particular species won't get much more than 6" long and are a great part of your cleanup crew.
When answering bristle worm questions we need to keep in mind that there are over 10,000 different species of bristle worms all with different characteristics and habits.

Hi there,
In the pic that shows the bristle worm, and "unidentified" white "shell looking stuff" - I had a good sized worm in my rock, and how I found it was that same "white shell looking stuff" in the area of the hole where the worm crawled in & out of. That stuff was my sand bed. Who knows, maybe the sand bed attaches to the worms bristles and when they go in *& out of the rocks it piles up? This is just my opinion...hope it helps!
:) fyi - if I actually helped someone else here - GREAT!! LOL
