New frag/question

Those may be red eagle eye zoos... Regular eagle eyes which are rare look like these below. I just got that frag a few days ago... They are truly bad --- zoas. Ihad to smudge the vendor logo hence that blur. Enjoy your frag and enjoy it's growth.

In my opinion none of the zoos pictured above are eagle eyes. EEs are gray/brown in the center surrounded by orange (not green or white) with a green skirt.
The EEs with red instead of orange are called watermelons.
But really, in the end it's not about the name, but the beauty.

True.....I really need to get a good book on coral classifications to read on free time... I truly love my zoos...EE's or not... So far I have 4 different zoo species in my reef and these kick ass but it is all about the beauty!

The common names for Sea Mats are just made up names. You might find them in a book but I don't know how useful it is.
