New frogfish discovered

A funky, psychedelic fish that bounces on the ocean floor like a rubber ball has been classified as a new species, a scientific journal reported. The frogfish — which has a swirl of tan and peach zebra stripes that extend from its aqua eyes to its tail — was initially discovered by scuba diving instructors working for a tour operator a year ago in shallow waters off Ambon island in eastern Indonesia.

I want the shrimp in the video. The fish looks like an animal walking around. Wonder what is all out there?

The article stated it was discovered in "shallow waters" off Ambon island in eastern Indonesia.
Does that mean it is possible this "cute" little guy could possible survive in our aquariums?
I am not familiar with the region, is this water to cold?

Like someone else said, it really makes you wonder whats out there. I also want one but not until we know there are enough to be a stable species.
I wonder if there is a giant frog fish out there somewhere, would like to feed the mother inlaw to one.

I haven't kept large fish, but that is one awesome frog fish!
I went net surfing and found out all sorts of info about the Ambon Island climate. The water temp where this psychedelic frog fish was found was recorded at 60.8 F.

it is also winter in a lot of places. i have heard of other fish being found in cold water that are normally found in warmer.

I was just wondering to myself.....
What was the latest salt water fish to make it from sea to our tanks?

With our continued, more and more understanding of the needs of our saltwater fish, lighting, food and so on. Trial and error of what species can and can not live together. I'm sure that some of the guys in our tanks that we take for granted were not possible many years ago.
So I was just wondering if anyone has an idea what the latest salt water fish that has been introduced to the hobbyist?
