just wanna say hello and have some questions
first off i am new to sharks, rays and eels, but ive been building/seting up my tank for months now and ive also done countless hours of reasearch..Also i have and keep crocadiles , so i know the work/time/and money exotics involves
now onto my questions...i am currently building 7 1/2 by 2 by 2 1/2 foot aquarium..Not sure on the gallons somewere around 250 maybe?? anyway the guy at my local pet store( not a chain store , privatly owned) has a 2,000 gallon saltwater setup with lots of sharks, rays, eels etc..he told me i would have to pick either shark/eel setup or shark/ray setup....is this accurate?? Also he raises nurse sharks and other large sharks for the nearby zoo and then takes them there when there bigger( its like a program he is in with conjunction with the zoo) so he said he is willing to give me a nurse shark and then after 2 or 3 years take it to the zoo with him,,he also said i could have a nurse shark along with a banded shark in the same tank along with either a ray or an eel...whats tooo crowded?? also i know that blue dot rays are bad in captivity and that they die quick...what ray would you reccomend??
Any advice and more info would be appreciated!!
