Gorgeous Hawaiian Blackfoot. Is he converted already?
Dang! I was gonna just call it a lionfish to try and beat the seach engines. It's a Parapterois heterurus, frequently collected from temperate waters. This one, however, was collected from Cebu and we know the Bay it came from. From peeps who have dived and seen these lions in this area say the water is mid to lower 70s.... not temperate. If we did not specifically know this information we would never have picked these up. If you do not know the source... pass them by. We know who handled these fish and comes very highly recommended. So, we are going to give it a shot because of these extra little things. Again, we would have just passed them by if we had of just run across them in the store without any information. These babies didn't even come out of the bag. Straight to their new home
No, not converted yet. Just got them last night. They eat just like the Fu Manchu.
