I cant for teh life of me get my camera to take a pic through the glass that is anywhere near helping me so im going to just try to discribe it.
its fairly flat and countours to the rock. kind of a fleshy pink with little pimples all over it in the middle of some of the pimples is an opening that is bright green.
I came by a bunch of LR with some corals on it. I found a taro tree, pretty big, but turned puple I dont think hes happy atm. this pink stuff, at least one RBTA, possily 2 more that are not in good health, i cant tell if they are small anemones or some sort of mushroom but ive got a whole bunch of them failry nice looking on a rock and then some straglers here and there on other rocks. and I have a branch full of not very nice looking mushrooms.
The Rock came out of a tank with a metal halide in it and Ive got it in a 55 gallon right now with only a PC over it so some of the stuff is not have a good time. I have a nova extreme pro on the way but about 1 week out. I was planning on getting a bunch of LR and then found that it had all these corals that I wouldnt have bought from a store becuase of my lack of good lighting bu now im trying to make them as happy as possible till the light comes.
I did feed the RBTA and he ate really well allthoguh he is drooping and not looking real good.
what is the pink stuff and how do I care for it?
also there is some sort of pink/redish jelly stuff on quite a few of the rocks. it looks like coraline froma distance, but you touch it and its slimey. any ideas what that might be, its on quite a few of the rocks in little spots all over.
Also got aiptasia up the wazoo that all of the rocks that have corals on tehm are being treated for and the ones that dont have corals are getting boiled and starting over.
