What is ATS?????
ATS=Algae Turff Scrubber. It is old school stuff. It never really caught on. There is still a big debate over them. It does have it's place and the new ways of maintaing have thier place as well. It depends on the typ of setup you want to run, ie....reef top or lagoon.

By the way, What is the different steeing on your camera? Mine picks up the blue so bad you can't see any texture.
In the scenes it has a backlight setting...I have no clue what that is..lol...I can not turn off the flash, but it at least takes a truer pic...

Oh yeah, my sea hare has doubled in size since I got him. I don't see any difference in my hair algae, except maybe there is more!

I'm growing less and less concerned about the possibility of him starving to death later.

LOL...It's a Sanyo digital point and shoot from Walmart (where else) Usually it makes everything look green

and I can not get good shots of stuff in the back either
I think for Christmas (or b'day) I will buy a good camera....it has to be one that does it all on it's own....

Does it have a macro setting? On mine it looks like a flower. I have macro and super macro and one other. Anyway if it does, try it. That is what I use to take shots inside the tank.

I had a "fuzz" growing on everything in my tank. Where it was excess nutrients... outside light coming in (summer time was hitting last year) or what it was but couldn't stay ahead of it. I ordered a huge CUC -- 100 hermits and 100 astrea snails and they worked everything over and have gotten rid of the fuzz mat growing on my live rock. SO when you say a few snails..... and that looks like a big tank... it'll take a lot to make a difference IMO.
Other than that I would be in there with a toothbrush and siphon lol.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I use the sceen settings too. It depends on the shot. Give auto a try. Make sure you turn off the flash and set it on macro. The macro setting will let you get real close and not blurr the shot.

I love my big tank...but it's a lot of work too....between the 225, 54, and 29...there is always something to be done.....

I can imagine. Both of my tanks are minimal -- biggest just is running the magnet cleaner across the glass and adding topoff water. That being said I should do a little better cleaning with my main tank though lol.
