thanks

now I just have to get the fish to stop playing with it! I had to go get glue and haven't gotten to glue it anywhere as I wanted to make sure I had the "right" placing
It was pretty cheap (at least I think so) and I haven't seen any more from that seller yet. But I think I want to ask for more

I would respectfully disagree about the PC I have personally seen and have hammers thriving with them but they do need to be positions near the top of the tank

+1 as a user of PC lighting for 3 years I agree. I had a thriving frogspawn and hammer. Near the top.
Beautiful by the way, I like the purple!
I am always open for disagreement. In my defense, I didn't say it wouldn't thrive under PC's. I stated, "in my experience" it didn't thrive under PC's for me but we all know in this hobby that what works for some may not work for others.
Beautiful coral and hope you have great success with it.

Yes it is the same as the seller's pic. It was a WYSIWYG frag.

It's finally glued in place. It wasn't opening before because my naughty fish decided it was fun to pull it out from where I had it.
I placed it high near the top 1/4 of the tank since I have the PC's. I'm hoping it stays healthy

That is very pretty coral Dani, I will shop for me one or two. You will find with PC lighting you will have luck with thing's they say OH NO you cant keep that with PCs it will die...I hear it all the time. If it doesnt look good after a few day's lower it. and move it lower till it looks like it was when you first got it...I have PC lighting and lot's of thing's other's would'nt dare to keep under PC's and they not only look good but thrive...good luck with a real pretty coral Dani....

I have the same coral and mine at least quadrupled in size in a a year. I am going to trade my frags to a LFS for a Mandarin next week. If you have the Branching Hammer the glue will be something that you want to avoid. I wedge mine, gently, in rock crevasses.
