I think I am cursed...my beautiful sebae is looking very sick, and sad to say I know what a sick anemone looks like....If it still looks this way in the morning I'm afraid it is gone
I DON'T GET IT!!!!
My Bta is doing fine....for now...I have no faith...don't know what's going on anymore

really? i thought sebaes could be whitish? the tips are still purple...
Yes, they can. More of a cream/tan color but many consider them white. The anemone in question doesnt look bleached to me.

Caflo's take on Sebae's
"The natural color for this species is a usually a rich brown (some other variations). What you have is a prime example of why aquarists should boycott the purchase of these animals until they can be shipped/handled better. Your anemone is white (and they are sometimes sold in yellow when not so severely bleached as your) because of stress/mishandling on import, it has expelled all of it's zooxanthellae (the brown color). "

Yeah, I am aware of what bleaching and expelling zooxanthellea and aware of calfo's take on anemones.
if you look close at the pic, you can see brownish/tan. Yes, it could be bleached a little. Its never easy to tell from pictures, but if it were "super bleached", it would be more translucent.

pretty obvious what was wrong it was a bleached sick specimen when you brought it home as niger pointed out earlier in the thread.
