I like the plate better there myself. How is the skimmer working on the tank now? Pics don't show a bubble problem if there is one.
Tell me where to look for the leather. Can't see it.

on the right side at the top , what does the white hose hooked to the power head do?
It is the air control....the top is out of the water with the valve on it...
I was going to buy a different type of bubble trap...the one that goes in the tank...BUT it looks kinda ugly in the pic....

the hose is coming out of the pump at an angle. Have you tried to take the end, pull it up so it comes out of the pump straight up in the air, and then try to adjust it.

OH...LOl...I have even tried to adjust it while I was standing on my head
...In this case position doesn't matter

LOL....Dr. Seuss
Well I wanted a plant and they had them...I have a feeling they are not going to last...
I can only find 2 of the cardinals...and it seems they like the top left corner of the tank...HEY they were FREE
OK...I'll move the plate there
Thanks everyone
(and of course Spanko)
I hope the shaving brush do well.. I was considering those because I like how they look
My PJ hangs in the top 5 gallons of the tank and the only time he swims anywhere is when the clown feels like picking on him.
I had a purple plate. It didn't do anything and then it died after one of my crabs decided to take a huge hunk out of it.

WELL So far the shaving brush do not look too good...I also do not think my fish like where I put them since they keep digging them up and moving them..LOL
I am hoping that this plate does well.....
QUESTION: Are those little red dots on it the tentacles??? I thought they would be longer....

Carndinals are cool. A lot of aquarist think they are boring and do nothing when they watch them but they are watching them at the wrong time. They are nocturnal so if you watched them at night you would see them be more active.

My PJ doesn't do anything at night either.. but it may have to do with the fact that it is old

My plate did not have the little red dots. When it would "eat" it would puff up like a muffin in the oven and the mouth in the center would open wide.

Yup tentacles. Yours is probably from the genus Cycloseris most likely a Cycloseris tenuis
. The long tentacled plates are of the genus Heliofungia.
