LOL...I should tell you about how I lost my minis today....The rock the minis on is kinda like a bowl.....IT was not glued down, and something moved it last night....I said I would glue it down in the morning...HAHA well in the morning it was turned over and the big mini was gone......the little one was still there....I searched and searched, and actually found the bigger mini on the back side of some rock....I got it off, put it back on the cuplike rock....well...went to epoxy the rock....knocked off the mini mini.....then the large mini...then the mini mini LOL....
I chased them all over trying to catch the slimey little things....and finally put them in a cup while I attached the rock....
Let's just say...the big mini is on the cuplike rock.....and the mini mini is on a rock next door.....

You are too funny

Most people find them too sticky, I have a hard time letting them go, keep sticking to one finger then another. Good save but if they do go missing, will surely pop up again one day no worries.

Something else I thought of. I gave my brother a couple minis a while back. His trick was to put them on a rock upside down, the tentacles are so sticky, they stay put, eventaully to right themselves.

It seems that the top is stickier then the bottom though.....surely they will attach soon...right?
Funny thing is about what you said earlier....stuff appearing later
A while back I put a teeny red mushroom in the 29G...it was smaller then a pencil eraser...well it floated off.... :( I FOUND IT TODAY....it is now as big as a nickel, and in a crevice on a rock...LOL...

Awesome mini carpet nems! I myself just got 3 last weekend and they look very similar to yours. I got mine for a good deal of 10 bucks a pop. I wish I could find out more information about them though. Do you feed them or anything? I have 3 sexy shrimp that keep playing around them and I'm surprised they have not been stung yet. One of them does the weirdest thing. He's attached to a hermit crab shell and has been dragging it around the tank and even hid inside of it the first night. I didn't know they did that.

I have only had mine a few days....I was told to give it some time and then try to feed it a piece of mysis...I have not done that yet, but I am also pretty sure they will eat from what I feed the tank too (I hope)

I fed mine on the second day and they ate but some of them have crawled into really hard to reach places. I have heard that good lighting alone should be enough for them to survive.

LOL, did you know sexy shrimp are anemone shrimp? They live with/have relationship with anemones and don't get stung.I had the same thing happen, remove it from the shell and stick it to a rock, the dragging many cause abrasion and will stress it which could lead to you loosing it.

Well apparently the bigger mini did not like where I put it....Not so sure it's choice is so great...I woner if the Frogspawn will sting it???? It moved there last night, and is still there..

I understand why you say difficult to see. As long as they look good I would not worry. Have the blue cloves opened yet? They are really pretty, like delicate little blue snowflakes.

LOL...you mean the mini mini...it's like a speck...if you didn't know where it was, I do not think you;d find it
The mini looks good though...tiny little mouth and all....I was mostly worried about the FS stinging it, but as you said...surely if it gets bothered it will move
At least it's out in front :)
