OH your banner fish is a wee little guy, he almost looks like a freshwater angelfish..LOL..they are not that cute once they are big...he will grow fast so like meowzer said, you must take him back.
Until your tank is cycled at least once, you can't keep any fish in there, nitrites and ammonia are deadly, and make the fish suffer as well, if not kill them right off.
Your bioload is greater than your good bacteria can keep up with. So get rid of the fish and wait. Then after nitrites and ammonia are at 0 and stay there for a week....add one fish at a time or two clowns. No more than that and let weeks pass between adding another critter so the tank can rebalance with good bacteria to combat the new addition.
A quarntine tank is ideal, it lets you makes sure your fish are healthy, and it creates time between adding new fish too fast. SG should be 35 to 37 ppt on a refractometer, and 1.024 to 1.026 on a hydrometer.
It's hard to tell in a picture...rock must be on the bottom and sand around it. Otherwise it could shift and crush critters or break the tank, if you did put the rock in first..good...or you must move the sand to one side and put the rock on the bottom, and push the sand back around it. Also I think you need a little more rock.
Aside from adding the fish too fast..... you haven't done anything unfixable. In such a small tank I'm afraid a few fish is all you will be able to keep. After the tank cycles...The clowns are a fine choice and if you add some more rocks you can add (but only ONE) dwarf angelfish (all have sharp bright color...bicolor, flame, Lemonpeel or coral beauty) or maybe an Orchid dottyback OR Rayal gramma
