New Tank Setup...55G

As an alternate point of view, I have always set my rock on top of the sand. Even with sand diggers like Pistol Shrimp I've never had any rocks shift. The important thing to remember is that each rock needs to have three points of contact with the rocks below it. Not two points of contact, not four points, not five points, exactly three points of contact.

Absolutely!

I mounted to the glass, spread sand away from the rock to make sure they balance w/o sand holding them up - just like you mention - and have the rocks weight locking them. LAST THING I WANT is 55G of well balanced parameter water destroying my wood floors from a cracked tank!!!! :D

Will keep updating progress.

Thanks guys for all the support.

I now have the following fish... All doing well....
2 ocellaris clowns
2 royal grammas
1 bicolor angelfish
1 sleeper goby
1 pearl jawfish
And
1 tiger pistol shrimp
1 peppermint shrimp
And
2 anemones sit far right
And
1 duncan coral frag, developing 2 new heads.... Sits far left
Cleanup crew...
10 hermit crabs
4 nassilius snails
4 turbo snails
1 large electric blue hermit crab
Looking forward to seeing coral propagate.... It hasn't been bothered, and is mounted on the bottom for now in gravel. Should raise it higher eventually right for max growth?
Thx

Unfortunately lost Jawfish to a Kamikaze onto the floor overnight. He jumped through a 1 inch gap in the covering! Deadly accurate damnit!

Here are some recent pics... Adding some more tomorrow... Nearing completion for now!
