New Tank

I am starting a new 90 gallon FOWLR tank. The tank is finished cycling. I am going to start adding fish. I would like a trigger preferably a yuma-huma but my daughter wants to add a hermit crab.
Is there any trigger that can be kept with a hermit crab?
I remember that I couldn't have cleaner shrimp with the trigger but i could not remember if a hermit crab can coexist with any trigger.

i keep many hermits with my humu trigger. i also keep shrimp and corals with my trigger.

I know nothing bout triggers.

I'm just curious as to what else you are going to add? I always like seeing how people sart out their tanks!

My understanding is that Niger Triggers are planktivores but like aduvall, I'm not well versed in Triggerfish.

well if the tank just started add everything you want to add befor the trigger. trigger fish do not tolerate new fish. the trigger may nip at the hermits but it wont really harm them.

I am thinking of adding lion fish, snowflake eel, small angel and a tang. I am really tossed on a tang. I had a Naso in my 125G years ago and it was my favorite fish. In the research I have done it appears that a 90G is not big enough for the Naso so I am lost as to which type of tang I am going to do.
Then once the tank is well established I am going to try an anemone and clown fish.
Any ideas/thoughts are well taken.
