Hey I was reading in anouther thread if I turn my lights out for a couple days it should bring the cyano in check. If I just turn the metal halides off and leave the actinics and moon lights on their regular schedule
will that be ok?

I wish it was that easy....First why do you have cyano? Do you have high phosphates? Low flow? too much nutrients?
You need to find out what's causing it...then fix the problem.

I am worried about some little black and red worms I have noticed at night in my tank. There seems to be alot of them now, on just about every rock. They are not big maybe a half an inch long and a sixteenth wide. I am a little concerned.......I will try to post a pic but they are quite small.
Ohh my god there are hundreds of them! Looking closer they are everywhere.

Bristle worms, not really a big deal unless they get out of hand but they do have traps that can get rid of them if you want.
Or you could get a pest eating fish.

I am sorry I cannot upload pics right now for some reason...
what kind of fish would you recommend that is reef and safe and wont eat my reef package?
