sparty -- i dunno if you've looked into this or what not.. but ive seen that a lot of areas have 'reef groups' where people get together and trade/sell frags for the requirements that you have.. have u heard of those?

that price is retarded -- but.. i think its good that their lighting was bad.. cause then whatever lighting you have will make them look good.. that was my concern -- my lighting is the 'screw-in' coralife 50/50's.. if my lfs had those things under MH's, then they woulda looked horrible in my tank.. that and they just got the shipment in last night.. so that worked in my favour.. .they literally brightened up within 2 hours in my tank
That's an interesting thought. But at the same time, since you're were just in, you were lucky. Because if the ones in my store were there for weeks and were looking bad then most likely there is little chance for salvation. Or who knows maybe they'll bounce back immediatly.

Yeah, not many in my area. I'm going to have to get in touch with a few people on this forum that live in my area and see if they have any other information on better stores or reef groups.

like this thread says , im a newbie.. but what makes sense to me -- if they werent' dead, then there's chance for salvation. If they just look brown and w/o color i think ur good to go.. definitely look into that.. everything ive read says 'wait till u get better lights, ur corals will jump back into action'.. -- all in response to my bs lighting system... lol

My dragon eyes close every night and then reopen every morning. If I look at the tank at night with my flashlight too long, they will start to open again.

Those might be mixed with Gorillas or Peanut Butter Cups (some people call them different) but there are some washed out Zoas in there that are going to look awesome under higher lighting. The ones with the little blue and the green skirts.
I got some that looked just like that and put them under halide and the centers turned all ice blue with the pink center and metalic skirts.

Where do usally place your Zoa's on the bed or up higher ?
I've put them on the top of my rock which makes it around 6 -8 inches away from the light, cause of my horrible lighting...

washed out means no enough light.? or too much.. even tho my lights aren't the top quality as they should be -- the washed out ones seem to be much closer to them than the other ones...

That's an awesome piece of rock there will, the one at the base that curves up and looks like tonga branches on the right side.
