How about the Chickification of sports? It's ruined the Olympics. When I watch sports I WANNA WATCH SPORTS!!! Not some mind numbing estrogen soaked piece of drivel about some athlete who was inspired by the death of their kitten when they were 4 years old. There should also not be "feminine hygiene products" advertised during sports either. Beer, truck and Doritos commercials only.
At least I don't have to hear joe morgan complain about no black people in baseball anymore. Thank Oh and I think we should allow ashley maddison commercials...

So let me get this straight.
Crimzy doesn't like the nfl network game because he is bringing back the puritan religion.
Flower likes it because overtime wont interrupt her reruns oflaw and order or deperate housewives.
Reef is the last person in the country that pays that much attention to the olympics.
And last but not least, Rubin has a contact in the dallas organization and hasn't extorted him for tickets yet?
Darth (its like a rerun of all in the family) Tang
Nah, he's just a subcontractor, no tickets there. (What do you think I am a slacker or something?) I'm kind upset you thought so little of me.

Rhytmic gymnasty is for the quiters of regular gymnastics. It is not a sport at all. Any fat guy can do it. Hell, we see rhythmic gymnastics more from drunk guys trying to not spill their beer in a holey back yard bbq. BUT, gymnastics of all kinds is put on in primetime to attreact the female viewership so that they can charge more for the advertising time slots. Same holds true in winter. The figure skating and ice dancing (same as gymnastics - quit figure skating and take up ice dancing) is shown in primetime for the advertising dollars. Bobsled has been pushed to the side. Whatever happened to Bodine's input on the sleds?

As a nuts and bolts explanation Flower, the NFL wants as many networks as possible bidding for the rights to the games I watch NFL Network religiously and I wish I could watch every game anytime without paying $200. I found a Ukranian sight online that gives the bird to copyright laws and watch which every game I want, whenever I want. But I do feel a tiny, weeny bit guilty each time I fire up a Chiefs game. For some reason they don't show Chiefs games in AZ, but the Eagles, Lions and Giants are on every damn week. WTH? So now I remember why it's only a tiny weenie bit guilty.

The Lions? Seriously? I am screwed here in NY as I cant ever see the 9ers games. I am stuck with both Jersey A & B, then bills, eagles, stupidboys, and pats. I wish the missus made more so that we could get a satalite and get the ticket. But as of now, I cant justify it. I see my Buckeyes almost every weekend in the fall without paying extra.

The Lions were on the local stations 8x last year and the Giants were on pretty much every week. The only West Coast team they show with any regularity is San Diego. Being a KC fan I find this morally reprehensible! Seriously though, I figure since so many of us here are transplants, the NFL is "encouraging" us to get the NFL Package.

could have something to do with the owner of the cardinals. He agreed to the move to the NFC west only if the league garunteed atleast one game a year against the cowboys. Then again, the league thinks that everyone likes the giants or lives in NYC.

Not that I would have wanted to watch them recently but being a Raiders fan in Colorado makes it hard to see games. When I had the wild card for Direct TV it was good times. Got the local networks from nearly every major city in the US. Who needed Sunday Ticket.

I know what you mean. Then again, there were other methods than to "alter" your card. Tell me you had your unit on during the royal rumble when it went to pot.

My "fixer" just worked a few blocks from my house. Once it got to be a weekly visit to replace the card I gave up and went with DIsh Network. He was still doing his thing for his own TV in 2005 when I left Montana.
