LOL...MY SON...HAHAHA....OK...so you seem to have some cyano...what eats it you ask? NOT MUCH....let me ask you this...how old is the tank? what do you have for filtration? flow? who do you feed and how much?
You can not cure cyano with critters....you have to do water changes....many of them, and siphone the junk out (believe me) there is no overnite cure either...
BUT..let's start with what I asked
Filtration is just the stock 30 gallon filter since my Emperor 400 broke and I'm too broke to afford another filter. Tank is technically about 5 years old, I'll post the whole story behind it later. As for flow, I just added a BIG powerhead that added A LOT of flow. I feed a shake of pellet food in the morning and a shake at night every day, and every third day I substitute a shake for a block of marine cuisine.
How big water changes should I be doing?
I started with a 12 gallon tank with 10-15 lbs of rock and 20 lbs of sand. Then I got a 55 gal and filled it with about 45 lbs or rock and 40 pounds of sand. Then the 12 crashed so I moved everything into the 55. The 55 was established for about 3 years I think, and the 12 went for a good year before I got the 55, and another 6 months or so after I got it. Then I moved, and I compressed the 50-60 lbs of rock and the 60 lbs of sand into this 29 gallon tank, so it is well-established and very mature.
I would do at least 5 gallons 2x to 3x a week.....siphon the cyano with a turkey baster first....this way whatever you stir up you wil lermove with the water change
also.....ditch the pellets....frozen mysis, the marine cuisine, emerald entree are good foods....IDK what livestock you have, but I would feed frozen daily.....and if you have to...maybe a teeny pinch of pellets once a week for a small snack
Ok, will do! Would you say like a half cube in morning, half at night? Also, don't know if I clarified, but the tank is about 4-5 years old in all. And livestock is ocellaris clown, 2 yellowtail damsels, serpent starfish, and condy anemone

Sounds ok....as long as they eat it
