Turboflotor 1000 Multi Protein Skimmer
The Turboflotor Multi SL is our most versatile protein skimmer. It can be fixed to the side of the aquarium (´hang-on´ mode), or placed inside or outside the sump. Its compact size makes it small enough to be stored under the cabinet.
In the ´hang-on´mode, only the pump is placed inside the aquarium. The pump Ocean Runner PH 2500, 37 W, features a venturi with the patented Aqua Medic needle wheel. The skimmer itself has the conical collection cup inner tube (also patented), and a lid, and two outflow boxes for directing the outflow back into the aquarium.
Dimensions: The height of the skimmer is only 22 inches, so it will fit into the sump in most standard cabinets.
Pump: The skimmer is designed to be used with the Ocean Runner PH 2500 pump. The Ocean Runner PH 2500 pump is included.

From seeing the tank of the previous owner I say definitely worth it. I'll be able to tell you more once I have it running for a little longer since I just got it running 3 days ago

haha same here wait no no. nvm hasnt happnd to me. i love feeding the corals at night tho! its amazing seeing them get everything!
i found this online and i agree with it 1000%
Ideally, the environment in which aquarium corals are kept should be as close to those on the reef as possible. A number of coral aquarists have found that feeding their corals at night with the assistance of an automatic feeder and running their mechanical filters and skimmers through timers which turn them off during coral feeding hours has provided good results.

If I turned my filter off at night I'd have water all over my floor in the morning. My filter is acting like a pump for DT water to get into my refug.
