nitrate

nitrate levels are very high. tank has been set up for about 2 years. it has been healthy according to fish activity. i have one air stone running all the time. i make regular 20% water changes in a 29 gal tank. i failed to make water quality tests regularlly. ph,nh3,no2 are ok. i am doing more water changes now and have removed substrate and replaced with bio sand. 1 live rock is in the tank. i have lost a few fish but still have a puffer,ell,tang and trigger. i have used a nitrate/absorber and carbon mix in a magnum/bio wheel set up.
STILL HIGH NO3 LEVELS 125+ HELP PLEASE

If you're a Troll, that's not really funny.
If you're not you need to take all of your fish to a Fish Store and give them away. None of the fish you listed are appropriate for a 29 gallon tank.

hmmm, I'm unable to find a delicate way to say it. That's my failing and I appologize in advance.
A general guideline for the number of fish in an aquarium is 5 gallons for each inch of fish. When adding up the inches you use the maximum size that the fish will be as an adult.
This means you should have a maximum of less than 6 inches of fish. All of the fish you listed grow to be larger than 6". Therefore, you will always have problems in that tank unless you take all of the fish out and add one or two small species.
Sorry, but no amount of information is going to fix your tank with all of those fish in there.
Sorry I inferred you might be a troll, it's just that you are 5X over the capacity for your tank. All I can conclude is that either someone gave you grossly inaccurate information or you've decided not to listen to anything you don't want to hear.
