Give me gsp! I'll take corals! My pulsing xenia is great. I lost one due to my butterfly thinking it tasted good......swapped him out and got a new xenia that's thriving.

Why not just do priority shipping?? 5 bucks. Might take 2 days to get there, but if packed right they should be alright.

I've been a member here for almost five years and have gotten to know a lot of people and have helped many people with their tanks. I've tried to be friends with as many people as I talk to on a daily basis here. I have made some pretty good friends over the years and I am sure that if you are a part of the community for a while and gain friends and have fun, then people will offer things to you as they do me. It just comes with time and humility! However, a coin has two sides. You have to give back as much as you can as well, and that too, also takes time.

I have looked, and looked, and looked for pests and I can not for the life of me find anything crawling on it, in it or under it. I'll look more into the disease aspect than my water quality and conditions. Maybe a medication dip would help. I'm not completely sure at this point.

You mean a polyfilter pad? Those filters that suck heavy metals out of the water as well as all kinds of organics etc? That might not be a bad idea.

No. The microbubbles are being sucked in through the return plumbing somehow. Maybe I need to tighten my union up some.

The polyfilter pad should alteast narrow down the ideas what's been listed so far.

A few things;
1) Did you test for Ammonia or Nitrites? when stuff dies it releases Ammonia and then that converts first into Nitrite. Both are much more toxic that nitrate which is the last chemical step. i'm sure you know all that.. but the presense of lots of brown algae with 0 Phosphate and 0 Nitrate reading makes me suspicious. Some algae will feed off of Nitrite.
2) How low is the Alk? I had a tank crash once from the alk being too low. if it was the Alk you'd lose your corals and snails first because they can't tolerate that change well.. then followed by ammonia, nitirite and then nitrate from your snails and corals dying.
3) I noticed much better results overtime from mixed saltwater that had been mixing for at least 3 days. Water mixed same day or day before always made my corals start stressing and dying.
4) You might be getting a light electrical flow into the water somehow. get a voltmeter and check.
