I havent seen the Orion before. Interesting concept! I have a Weber Smokey Mountain, so I'd definitely be looking at the 6-8 hour time. Last time I did a turkey it was around 16 lbs and IIRC it took about 3-4 hours.

with it stuffed you would add about an hour and a half...but would have to check it as everyone's smoker is different. I also stuff the neck cavity, usually with orange peels and bacon...

I have something called a turkey cannon. It's a contraption for doing a turkey like beer butt chicken. I need to try that rascal out. I am thinking orange soda in it for turkey.

did that with a 40oz of ole english before. That was GOOD!
