12hrs is fine. it really only matters if you have coral in the tank. if not you can leave it on for how long you want.
and the 6 blue bulbs are they actinic?

i have a nep, i only leave my lights on from 4pm to 10pm. You should leave your lights on however long you want, which doesnt cause any issues in your tank. If 12 hours is working, keep it at 12.
For moonlights, i use a reefkeeper lite controller with MLC module.

Just watch for extra algae growth...if you notice a lot...cut your lighting time down...if not...well leave it....google led moonlights....there are quite a few options out there

What I would do is this....Have the actinics come on 1st..maybe for an hour or 2...then have the regular lights come on....for maybe 8 hours...then have the actinics stay on for an hour or 2 after that.
My schedule...actinics...on at 7 a.m. 1st MH.(center) on at 12 p.m. MH 2 & 3 (left and right) on at 1 .pm
MH 2 & 3 go off at 8 p.m. MH 1 goes off at 8:30 p.m. Actinics go off at 10
Moonlights come on at 9:55 p.m. and go off at 7 a.m..
