Nova Extreme T5.These reflectors might work.

I have 2 fixtures. I bought my tank used... and thought it just had a standard bulb until I started setting up and discovered it was a VHO. Mine has the nice wood look that matches the tank so I decided to go with the 48 inch 4 bulb unit and keep the one VHO. It looks really nice because I have the Sun VHO bulb that has a slight pinkish color with the acintic and daylight of the nova.
My VHO is in the front of the tank and nova set up directly behind.

In looking at the lights last night I thought about reflectors, but there is not a whole lot of space in there. You could probably put some sort of reflector on the sides but not sure about in the middle???? I thought this fixture also only had 2 moonlights- but mine has 4 - only thing that kind of sucks is there are 4 plugs- which means I need another surge protector

I just got this reply from Current
"Dear Jon –
Thank you for contacting Current USA. We are happy to report this spring we will be releasing our Novas with individual reflectors. We will not be selling the reflectors separately.
Have a great day!
Take care,
Current USA Customer Service"

I really like the light but if I can improve it that's even better.
Please do not ask for or provide links

Honestly, is it so difficult to google these things?
It is not a question of whether THIS site sells this, it is a general rule. Obviously other sites may sell what this site does.We don't do this to make like difficult, but out of respect to SWF PLEASE RESPECT THIS RULE
and do not post or request links to other stores.

Sometimes, yes it does but not often, IMO....
Does this discussion really require a link? I think just saying "hey I think the Nova Extreme T5 reflectors might work, what are your experiences with them like?" is basically the same as what you were looking for? We don't delete links to annoy people. It is just the way it is...good or bad.

No because I find the item..and alot of the times google wont come up with anything for it. So its harder for others to see what i am talking about.

Follow the rules or the thread gets closed. That simple. SWF rules, (not ours) so it is the job of the mods. to enforce the rules cut and dry. Barry

I am sorry I did not know you could not request that info. I did google that item and I could not find it and usually I do not have a problem with some leg work. Won't do it again!

can somebody post a picture of their tank with the Nova Extreme T5 HO lighting? I'd like to see what it looks like - please post tank size and total light watts - I'm considering getting rid of my JBJ PC light (130watt) as it's very blue, and I want something that looks more like "real" light from the sun.
Thx,
Stieger

Ok then
I need to know about the way they sit on the tank. I have glass tops and a tank top which covers the lights I have now. All the Nova T5 lights I have seen have this stand that comes with them. I don't like the lights that sit up and you see the glow of the light in the front. Plus if I had those then I could never put my tops back on. The space between my glass and underside of the tank lid is 3 inches. I just want to know if those legs you spoke about would be ok with that reflector.
