hahahhahaha, I was laughing my butt off...
PLUS they didnt show him throw the ball to the catcher.. They usually show the camera from behind along with the catcher... here they just showed Obama and then cut to the catcher running up to him but NO THROW... freaking BS if you ask me...

I am not sure what you heard or saw, I dont hear any boos in this clip, in fact all I hear is cheering, perhaps if you clean that wax from your old ears you could actually hear well. He threw the ball right to the pitcher looks to me....

Come on there were very clearly some booing.
Who knows maybe their were cheering by saying his initials.
BOooooo
But I've kind of changed my mind. Mitch Williams pointed this out. You don't go into a ball park in that position and wear some one elses jacket. It is just something you don't do. You know.

Anyone that didn't hear any boos in that clip clearly has something other than wax clogging their ears

For someone who considers themselves a bit of a jock that was a serious weenie throw.

DING DING.........you win the prize!!! Even Bush had enough sense to wear a Cardinals jacket when he threw out the first pitch here.

(they even boo'd the cubby player .

Well lets not forget that Bush was on vacation every other week, plenty of time to unwind and practice that pitch!

fair enough. I just didn't want to go too far over the top.
Meowzer raised a valid point. It was all in good fun. I'm not here to ruin it.

There was no political conotation the miami's post, but who cares if there was? You didn't want it to go too far? Is Obama so important he can't be commented on? I'll just move along...

You are going to get made fun of when you throw like a girl. (Unless you are a girl, or physically unable do to age, or ailment)
But what gets me is when people pretend to be something he is not. When you say you are a white sox fan, but butcher the name of the stadium that has had the same name for the same amount of time as wrigley or fenway. That kind of annoys me. It is Comisky PARK not Cominsky Field or whatever he said.
That being said at least he admitted that he can't throw a baseball. Just kind of annoying when they tried to hide that due to camera angles...
My cousin was special forces recon and I doubt he'd top obama's pitch. He just never played organized sports. (It also helps he shredded his rotator cuff lifting weights...)
And whether or not he got booed and why is a perfectly acceptable discussion. They were talking about all all day on sports radio.

What gets me is the same folks who smirked about Bush getting booed get all indigent when the Ossiah gets the same treatment.

Ah, ok.
And that solved the Middle East situation and all our economic problems.
Damn! I get it now.
I stand corrected.
Lincecum for president!
If you haven't noticed were still in the same situation.

It is an all-star game...did each player when introduced, also get booed for wearing the hat of their team? If not, then I doubt it was for his attire.

If you can't throw 50 you've might as well be a girl. And who ever is feeding you that info is full of crap. You can lob a ball about 20 miles an hour and get it to the plate...

Regardless of the fact it's an All-Star game, it still was held in St. Louis and rivals teams did still get booed.
What's perhaps more annoying is what stdreb pointed out, being a 'fake fan.' Obama grew up in Hawaii and went to school in the Northeast. Any real sports fan has 'their' team by the end of college. The whole "White Soxs because I was a Senator from Illinois" lame, but pretending to be 'all about it' like Obama was, is on another level of annoying...

I dunno, within the last 5 years I've began following nascar. And I have a favorite driver.
