) The local news interviewed Obama was he was pleased with his pitch. He said he just wanted it sent high to Pujols.
She was also noting the MANY sharp shooters on top of the stadium. She also said the B-2 stealth was pretty impressive and flew very close. She was amazed how truely quiet it was. (duh, right? )
She also stated that during the Presidential presentation that George W. Bush received the loudest ovation. Go figure.
The other thing that really irked St. Louisians was the fact that MLB would not allow a more fitting tribute to Stan. My daugher said people were talking about all night. "weak" seemed to be the term most used.
