If you can't throw 50 you've might as well be a girl. And who ever is feeding you that info is full of crap. You can lob a ball about 20 miles an hour and get it to the plate...
That's not baseball, that's bowling.

I dunno, within the last 5 years I've began following nascar. And I have a favorite driver.
Well, NASCAR's sort of an exception I guess. The popularity boom of NASCAR has really only started in the late 90's, 2000's. Sort of like if Soccer or Cricket or some other sport took off tomorrow. Not the 106 year old game know as baseball. The newest teams, Diamondback and Rays are 11 years old and I'm a 15 year Marlins fan...

No worries - I found it funny - I was poking fun back.

I am not sure what you heard or saw, I dont hear any boos in this clip, in fact all I hear is cheering, perhaps if you clean that wax from your old ears you could actually hear well. He threw the ball right to the pitcher looks to me....
http://sports.yahoo.com/video/player...s_MLB/14512728

Actually he threw it to a first baseman who was crouched in front of the plate.
I believe Pres. Obama promised not to thrw into the dirt. Another broken promise.
I heard the boos, but I feel that is in bad taste.

My daughter was there...we sold our other tix. Otherwise I could tell you first hand. There WAS booing towards Obama. She said everyone was ticked he had on a Sox coat. They also boo'd towards the Cubby. (its expected...have you been to a Cards/Cubs game??
) The local news interviewed Obama was he was pleased with his pitch. He said he just wanted it sent high to Pujols.
She was also noting the MANY sharp shooters on top of the stadium. She also said the B-2 stealth was pretty impressive and flew very close. She was amazed how truely quiet it was. (duh, right? )

She also stated that during the Presidential presentation that George W. Bush received the loudest ovation. Go figure.
The other thing that really irked St. Louisians was the fact that MLB would not allow a more fitting tribute to Stan. My daugher said people were talking about all night. "weak" seemed to be the term most used.
she took a ton of pics at the Home Run Derby, the stadium/field looked amazing.

The Arch and Capitol building cut into the grass was brilliant.
That and the fact that Prince Fielder won the derby.

I'm a Brewer's fan tho, I boo the Cubs and Cards as a matter of general principle, so take my opinion for what it's worth.

Oh and another thing... OBAMBUS wears MOM'S JEANS...

OMG! That was what I was thinking when I saw the video. I was thinking "What the heck is he wearing"? I couldn't even hear the boo's because inside my head all I could focus on was those long baggy behind jeans he was wearing. Looks like someone went shopping for him. Maybe they are Michelle's jeans. They look like they belong to a amazon woman. Lol.....

FWIW, I don't care about the reason why, I don't think the president should be boo'd. I didn't like the disrespect shown to George II and I don't like Obama being treated with disrespect. Now his clothes are fair game.

I know...
It was like he was off doing his meetings and visits and what-not and he forgot his street clothes and Michelle was like, "It's ok Barry wear these, no one will know the difference". Lol....

Here is one that sounds way clearer. Keep in mind the writers on the scene even said he got booed. Obama's job approval has now dropped to 58%, and it has dropped 3-5% per month since he has taken office. Doing some simple math you can assume half the people there were cheering, and the other half were booing. In the next few months he'll be below 50% approval rating. This is not the first time Obama has been booed. He as booed by the Doctors when he spoke about his socialized medicine plan.
