Given your religious convictions and the fact that most democrats are pro-choice. Where do you stand?

So you would compare Iraq to our civil war? I am sorry, but I fail to make the connection.

Good point. The insurgency is causing the same fear that Saddam did. Pretty clear that the terrorists are trying to suppress what the people of Iraq want, a revoloution.

Wanted to make sure it wasn't a Republican "Dirty Tricks Committee" out of context charge...
During an appearance Monday in Nashua, he apologized again, telling reporters he meant to criticize civilian leadership of the war, not those serving in the military.
"Even as I said it, I realized I had misspoken," Obama said. "It is not at all what I intended to say, and I would absolutely apologize if any (military families) felt that in some ways it had diminished the enormous courage and sacrifice that they'd shown."

All politicans are liars. They all pander to the middle class and tell us what we want to hear but in the end they do what is best for the rich and powerful (because these are the people they deal with on a daily basis these are the people who have connections). However, democrates are very honest in one area. They tell us that the central government is a positive force (maybe) and they intend to make it a bigger force for good, which they do very well. The Republicans say they will cut the size of government, get government off our backs, have "no new taxes," trust the people not the government. What do they do in office? They increase the size, scope, and power of the government. Every Republican president since Herbert Hoover has increased the size and power of the federal government.

Are you blind or just ignorant..... Judging by your stance on politics, it seems to be both.

I would never tell a soldier that his/her efforts were wasted. Each and everyone of them now and those that came before are heroes.
Having said that nobody could have understood what was going to happen in Iraq. We liberated a people but, I am sorry to have to say this, they are to ignorant and stupid to take advantage. It is time for the good and evil forces to settle this conflict. Iraqi's should be laying their lives down for their nation.
We have made tough choices as a nation. During the civil war we fought about slavery. There were those that were for it, and those who were against it. The side with god given morals was the victor.
Now is the time for the good Iraqi people to stand up and die for what is right.
Thank you to all who have served. I walk humbly before you.

Democrats always want more spending and more regulation. They control the media and repeat the same propaganda over and over. They increase the size and scope of the government by throwing money at social problems thinking this will somehow solve them. They fail in the areas of social spending by supporting hand outs proven to encourage lazieness and medocricy. Bill Clinton promised a middle class tax cut while seeking the presidency. He immediately raised income taxes upon taking office. Not only that, he initiated a separate tax increase on social security recipients, along with several other tax increases. Clinton called for a smaller, less bureaucratic government and did exactly the opposite by enacting more government funded programs.
Since the George W. Bush tax cuts, the economy has added about $2.5 trillion dollars. That growth is almost identical to the entire economy of China. The tax cuts on individuals and on the cost of capital, have kept the economy on a robust pace despite the drop off in the auto industry, which has seen job losses in the thousands and losses in the billions to GM and Ford.
Both parties suck IMO but the democrats are the true enemies of capitalism.
