Rezko was/is a big real estate giant in Chicago.. He was a large supporter of DNC. Of course all sorts of things happen in politics... but you can't convict or assume everyone this person has been in contact with... The appearance was that he was a successful business man, which he was... but there was nothing that suggested he was a criminal. He even photoed with Pres and 1st lady Clinton.
As far as representing Rezko... he was an associated lawyer who spent only a few hours on the case... This wasn't even his case, but a case his firm took and assigned him work on... Give me a break..
Take "Teflon John"... he had a party at his house where organized crime figures attened, yes Mafia... I forget the name .. but big time mafia boss.
He also has many people who he is associated with who are found to be criminals.
Lets not even talk about all the criminals and scandals associated with Clinton.. or should we?
Rezko was widely known to be under federal investigation when Obs picked him to be on his campaign finance committee, But then again if Obama could sit in Wright's church for 20 years without hearing any of his anti-American diatribes I suppose he can make the same excuse for Rezko. Kinda like he didn't know his largest fundraiser also happens to be the family that holds the largest block of stock in Maytag, a constant target of Obama's on the campaign trail for moving jobs overseas.
So while Obama was talking to the folk about there jobs going "overseas" (to Mexico) Obama was accepting money from the biggest stockholders in the company.
Seems oddly familiar to his dealing with exalon energy. After Obama changed the language in a bill to suite exalon they became the 6th largest source of his campaign contributions.
And lets not forget his money from big oil

While Mr. Hope and CHange was running an add claiming he didn't take money from oil companies he had a fundraiser by an oil company executive and has raise over 250,000.00 from them
