Oh Cr*p~ I think it's webbing

Thankfully , both are fully clear of the white parasites, oreo and typhoid mary are eating and pooping normally....[any mom/dad can appreciate this...hehe] going to keep them at 1.009 sg for another 4 1/2 weeks and slowly bring them to 1.024....what a ride these ponies have given me....heathly , then sick , saving the other 2 , then both sick , 1 heathly.....arrrggghhhhh.....hopefully this is it , and in 5 weeks can start aquascaping there qt / new tank with sand , corals etc...lol....sigh....there just like kids....My other kelloggis are as healthy as can be and will be moving them them to the display as soon as I feel comfortable doing so, maybe next week .

I'm so happy to hear that you are winning the war on the webbing!
I love that name, Typhoid Mary, it really makes me chuckle when I read about her. :)

AWESOME!!!! You should make a book about your successful treatments! I want a autographed copy

Awwww thanks guys , but I give credit to this site. I sometimes go to the disease /treatment forum and theres all these threads on low sg and ich.So when my ponies started showing signs of a bad parasitic webbing infection , I started thinking ~ I read horses don't get ich , or its very rare , but what would ich look like on a scaleless fish ?? I wouldn't think it would present like classic ich, so maybe thats what it was???? So after everything I did and them not improving , I thought what the h*ll, I'll lower the sg , they were doomed if I did nothing , and that was the last straw I had left. I'm really interested in pursuing ich and seahorses, as in how it would present , blotches or the small hairlike structures [that were in the thousands] that were on my horses....and why only 2 got it, why not the other 2 if it was in the water column? My other 2 horses were loners, always by each other on the other side of the tank, which supports my ich theory....just something to think about

Ohhh pete , I'm so sorry ....Thats so sad to see....My female wasn't to that extent , but she was really looking bad. Whatever this webbing parasite is ,somebody has got to come up with a definitive answer and we'll all benefit. And whats strange is it seemed to collect around the eyes , gills , snout region first. Again pete , so sorry about your boy
