Haha! That was EXACTLY what I was trying to reference. But on a (only slightly more) serious note, I have a lot of friends at Christian schools. All of them are committed to not have sex until marriage. But none of them are so innocent. It is [strike]amazing[/strike] disgusting all of the different ways you can not have sex. I'm talking armpits and ears.

Perhaps some of those kids were placed in those schools not necessarily based on their choice alone. If that's the case then some are probably only half committed which is not really committed at all.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear that some folks out there might have some armpit and ear fetish's. Until the internet became so popular I would never even have dreamed about some of the stuff that people find sexy or ways to take the edge off.

Crim, no where in this topic did I say that women's breasts were not sexual. Any woman here would be able to confirm that they certainly are sexual. It is interesting that some of the men have come up with me saying that breasts are not sexual. However, that is not all they are and, in fact, that is not the primary purpose---feeding and nurturing of babies is their primary function. There is no way to argue about that.
My comments here are based on most of the men's reaction to something that shouldn't really be such a big deal. Women's breast are sexual organs, and men view them as a sexual objects first, foremost, and only.
And again it is for nurturing and feeding and why not keep that PRIVATE......In a restaurant isn't the appropriate time to nurse your baby.....Common sense do it before or after or better yet if you know that feeding time will occur during your trip or time out, as mentioned earlier she could have used a breast pump and bottled it......

The reason males can't overlook it is because they view breasts as a sex object first and foremost. And seeing it for what it is, a means of feeding a child, is disturbing to them. A decent woman should keep her boobs covered up in public. If they are hanging out or exposed, then she is not a decent woman.
As to other children observing this, so what? Use it as a learning opportunity to teach your kids that women have breasts for this purpose. What is better, that kids understand that women have breasts so they can feed and nurture their young children, or that women's breasts are taboo and should only be viewed as a sex organs? No wonder girls grow up oppressive about how they look and how big or small their boobs are.

bah...I can't even remember when the last time I saw something like this actually done in public. That's probably why it really doesn't bother me, I guess cause I never see it. That probably says something right there.

See, when I picture this happening in Texas, I totally picture the nipples coming out of holsters. Which, i'll be honest, would be equal parts hilarious and creepy.

Hey, man. I've seen some of those nursing clothes. I know they make stuff for easy access to be able and whip those puppies out at a moments notice. Decent people like us need to be able to protect ourselves from the miss handling of stuff like this. Perhaps we should just start designating Nursing Zones in restaurants and public places like we did with all the smokers. If you're nursing then you get stuck in the section with the rest of the lactating public. We'll just keep splitting people up into categories and sub categories until we truly are a nation divided. Sounds like a good plan to me.

How old are you? I am 38 and I know was I was a baby it was in the midst of a campaign against breast feeding where women were being told that formula was better, so a lot of kids born in the mid seventies were bottle fed only
