Boise State is willing to play anyone, but they want any team that schedules them to also go to their place the following season.
Ohio Stadium seats over 100,000 while according the the Boise State website, Bronco Stadium only seats 32,000 (Ohio State could fill that place for that game)...scheduling a non-conference road game is a HUGE loss of income to the program. Once Boise State is able to show that they can beat tougher teams on the road, then (and only then), will they be able to get those same teams/types of teams to visit their place.
Zactly, you gotta pay your dues and Boise has a big chip on their shoulder about it. They need to be looking to pick up games in Minnesota or wisconsin along with a couple of Pac games. They might be able to get Notre Dame to come to town though.
