Ive been in the hobby for a long time and I'm finally calling it quits. I went on vacation for a week and had a family friend take care of the tank. She had done this for me several times for even longer lengths of time. Apparently she forgot about water topoffs and the magdrive ran dry for too long. The overflow ended up losing suction and the tank overflowed. The power outlet got wet and power was off on the tank for 3 days. I came home today to 3 dead fish and the corals looking pretty poorly. To make things worse, I totaled my car on the way home from the vacation so I am going to need some money to buy a new one. I have gotten power back on and all the corals are looking back to normal but I am going to be leaving for another vacation soon and will not be back until late august. I have decided that it is not practical for me to have the tank at this time and need to get rid of it asap. I have about 100lbs of live rock. Alot of it is shelf rock which is great for aquascaping. I have about 60 lbs live sand. I have a bunch of coral and a 175w HQI coralife aqualight. I have an SOS silent overflow and a magdrive that I cant get to start now and I think might be burnt out. I will have to get back to everyone on the magdrive. I have a coralife skimmer rated to 120 gallons. There is a 12 inch PC that I use on the refugium. I have a bunch of powerheads, additives food etc. I will part out but if anybody is close to 10541 I would like to sell it all at once. Let me know if anybody is interested in anything.

Oh, duh, the tank is a 58g oceanic corner tank with a matching black stand. The combo new was over 800$. The stand has some water damage on the inside from the fuge which I wont be able to really show with pics because its black and it doesnt really show well on the camera. Also, the door needs to be adjusted because as of now its hard to close fully. You have to kind of force it. I never bothered to fix it because I cant close it anyway becasue my skimmer sticks out too far.

sorry to hear about all of that, that really stinks. I'd be interested in 40lbs of lr if you part out, just let me know

NOOO!!! You can't quit!! You've come too far to just "quit" now. I had something similar happen to my tank, and I just considered it a chance to start over, and do everything right, with as little mistakes as possible. I'm sorry to hear that that happened to your tank, but do what I did. Consider it a new beginning.
PLEASE..don't give up.

I will eventually start a new tank but at the moment I just dont have the time and money to properly maintain this one. I have to start saving for college and not to mention buy myself a new car. lol you will see some day that sometimes you have to put your hobbies aside for a little while. I will be back dont you worry.

Well, I want to wait another couple of days just to make sure they are all healthy. I have invested alot of money in the coral and would like to get atleast some of it back. The elephant ear and favia are each worth over 100. Everything is best offer so make an offer you think is fair. I will get back to you once I see that they are all healthy. As of now the only ones im worried about are the star polyps. Everything else has opened back up. Would you want the LTA as well? Its about 10 inches wide when fully opened. I got it on sale for 70. Its a beautiful anemonel. Its bright white with purple tips.

I will do the corals for the following prices:
Favia: 55$
Elephant ear= 60$
Pagoda cup=35
zoos(green) 25$
small zoos(green and blue)=15$
green hammer 8 heads= 35$
Purple shroom=10 each (about 3-4 inches wide)
Orange shroom=10 (1-2 inches)
Green striped shroom=25 (2 shrooms one is about 4-5 inches the smaller is about an inch)
Octobubble=20 each I have i think 5
Green man eaters=30 for the large colony 15 for the smaller ones
Colt coral=30 about 7 inches long
Leather coral= 30 (4 inch stalk with a 4 inch wide head)
Rock of elephant ear mushrooms=40 (4 ears the largest is about 4 inches)
I have a rock that has a clump of gsps that is about 6-7 inches wide. Not sure how I am going to price that.
Live rock is 4$ a lb. It is premium fiji rock with lots of growth. You can just look at the pictures.
Live sand is 1$ a lb but will have to go last obviously.
Fish are as follows
Yellowtail damsel= free to anybody who want him and buys other stuff.
Purple tang= (5 inches) 40$ but will only be available for about a month because my brother plans to take him once his tank is set.
Canary wrasse (4 inches) 25$
Watchman goby= 20$ hes my favorite fish so has to be somebody good.
Inverts= Black urchin= 15 to anybody who can do pick up. Hes about 6 inches now.
Blood shrimp- 20$ (3 inches)
Bright yellow sponge= 30$ (6 inches tall 3 inches wide look at pic)
Tank and stand combo I will do for 500$ brand new came to over 900 after tax.
Hqi set with ballast from coralife I will do for 175. Still fairly new and I paid over 300$.
250w Titanium heater with thermostat= 30 shipped.
Silent overflow=55$ shipped. (originally 120)
Coralife skimmer rated to 120g= 60$ + 10 shipping
Mag drive pump=30$ (just stopped running on me i dont know what it needs thats why im selling so cheap.)
Jalli 18" PC= 30$
Eheim canister= 40$ Missing some of the hosing parts but still works great. I only used it for a few weeks. Media is all there.
B-ionic 2 part system 32 ounces of each brand new never used = 25$ + 5 for shipping
