Man you guys are lucky!!
When they actually are available in my area, they run $20 - $30 a piece!! Dirty dogs.
I have heard about some being available grey market soon though.......maybe I'll get my greedy little hands on some.

Now wait just a minute.........you mean to tell me that you can get those to reproduce?!?? And all this time I have been going about them in the old fashioned way like a schmuck.

They are almost like a snipe, but they live in saltwater. I have never seen any though:D

Mine turned blue, I thought they died so I tossed them in the trash.
They came back to life and crawled back in the tank, but left stinky slimey trails of goo on the floor.
I would be willing to sell a mated pair for $30.00
I can ship them to you via donkey cart.
They should make it just fine.

I will be finishing up my massage certification in just one more week......is it possible to hold onto some for me until then? I would be very greatful.
Thanks for keeping a fellow Ohioan in mind sammy!
Broomer- we have a "No Donkey Carts!!" rule in effect in Cincinnati right now but, Carrier Pidgeons are still okay. Can you help a brotha out?

tangsfornuttin,
Sorry dude .... the donkey travels there and back - this ain't a one way U-Haul deal :D
I really don't need the sheep right now either - sorry man
Have you tried some diamond studded earrings ?
Rye,
I'm afraid the carrier pidgeon shipping may damage their enclosed inner cavities. Sort of an altitude pressure change kinda thing. They may pop

ROTFLMAO
Yes Rye,
Very delicate, but hardy. Fragile, yet strong :p
I may set up a species tank dedicated to these wonderful things !

I found some!!!
I recieved word earlier today that there may be some available out of a small warehouse in Micronesia. I am so excited!
I better get out my test kits to make sure that my water conditions are right for them. Contrary to popular belief....Alk/ Ca/ pH have nothing to due with thier success in the home aquarium........what I need to test for is wetness. If the water is wet enough, they should thrive! I just hope that my Salifert Wetness Test Kit will be sufficient for them........ah heck.....I will go out and find a LaMotte Wetness Test Kit just to be safe.....no need to skimp on such an important item.
I will keep you guys updated for when I order them and pricing and all........wish me luck. I am so tickled!! :) :) :) :)

WTG Ryebread !!
I knew you could find them somewhere.
I've heard the Micronesia varieties are some of the most beautiful, but most difficult to keep.
Hey, when you do the wetness test with the LaMotte Wetness Test Kit - try to keep the test tube vial as dry as possible. If you have any rinse water in there from the last time you tested, it'll throw off the accuracy like you wouldn't believe.
Then after you add your 5 milliliters of tankwater to the test tube - dry it again real good with a hair dryer. Then add your powder and dry reagents ..... and you're good to go !
Do the hair dryer procedure in a safe dry place too. Not near the tank or other water sources ...... Safety First !
Normally I wear a pair of Depends™ when I do this test - just to make sure there is no chance of stray leakage.
I didn't do this test correctly before- and I think that's why mine appeared to be dead.
Good find !
Good luck !

Tangs.......thanks for the link. I think that will clear things up for the folks that don't know what we are talking about.........they are somewhat.......indescribable.
Broomer- I am having some trouble with my new Wetness Test Kit. I tried several different methods and the hair dryer method is making me mad. Every time I fire up the hair dryer.....it blows all of the water out of the tube right into my face.....then I stumble around the room for a bit and by the time I get my face dried off the tests seem to stop working.
Beaslbob- Perhaps two Mollies? And I will only accept them if you don't feed them for a week or so.......I want them to be good algae eaters and I don't want them messing with my new aquisitions.
EVERYONE - IMPORTANT NEWS!!
I spoke with the sales representative in Kelekabloahpop ( The Micronesian Saltwater Warehouse) and he said that he had some rare color morphs in as well. Fuschia, Chartruse, and Mallberry are now available as well as all of the standard color variations!!! Those Depends™ might come in handy Broomer.....thanks.
