I have a two males, a red one, and a bluish/purple one. I would like to swap them both for a Metal Halide setup. They are both very healthy, although the red one recently recovered from some form of parasite (possibly Saliferts as I haven't tested for them in a while). If interested, and your water passes the "wetness test" please email me or send me a PM. I will even throw in a bottle of watermelon formula.

I just bought a hermaphroditic group of 3 from a very reputable internet dealer. They came with a full set of Ginsu steak knives and a coupon for a free Salifert Wetness test. They are doing just great

Mine just died again.
I took one out to measure it - and it collapsed in my hand.
The other one died of loneliness, floated to the top and just kept floating up into the canopy. Then it popped as it brushed against the MH lamp.
I will never keep these things again.

Could you please contact me regarding your purchase of the red one? I was attempting to bag him up for you, when I was poisoned by his stingers and had to be rushed to the hospital (as you know these are poisonous). Well, when I was stung, I dropped him on the floor, and rushed to the hospital, sooo....long story short, I now have only the purple one left. Unless of course I am able to revive the red one via the "freezer" method.

My oh my how things can change in 3 little months.
To think.....these used to be something that many of us longed for. I can't believe that I actually wanted these little babies in my aquarium. Holy Smokes! I am so glad that we were able to find out about the potential dangers of keeping them are.
I just feel so bad that we had to lose 2 innocent swf.com members to figure it all out. Why.......just why?
