Nice anemone there Lois!!!
Posiden is talking about a Berghia Nudibranchs, they feed on Aiptasia, but when they are gone the nudibranch dies from lack of food.
Not sure if they are exclusive on Aiptasia or not, maybe someone else will chime in.

I disagree. I've had one or two for YEARS with never a major outbreak. Nip it in the bud yes but one or two doesn't=outbreak in a tank that doesn't have excessive nutrients. I had one in my current tank, irradicated it and have not seen another since. I'll take it over bryposis and red turf algae ANY day.

I so laughed when I read your post. I'll trade you that worm thing I have for your aptasia! I've got a bunch in my overflow and refugium. I don't care if they are there as long as I don't get them in my tank. When I do, I load up a syringe with a little aptasiax and bye-bye!

I take some tank water microwave it for two minutes and use a turkey blaster to burn the pest away. Works well and it's free.

Tank water. Genius. I was thinking everyone used boiling RO water to kill them.

You need to get a group of peppermint shrimps, and dont feed them for 1 or 2, or maybe 3 days. It will happen!!!!! They will get hungry and start to eat them, as soon as they find them.
