I used peppermint shrimps and Joe's Juice to knock it out. I had well more then 50 in my 55g. I used the Juice to kill the big ones and then the shrimp to get the ones I missed. Been free and clear for the last 6 months now. You can also use lemon juice but I dont know the quanity to use. Look that up and you can get more info

Eric Borneman's Aiptasia control recipe:
100ml distilled water, 1 teaspoon Red Devil lye (sodium hydroxide), and 2 teaspoons calcium hydroxide (kalkwasser). Mix well and use a PD-Tip or dispensing syringe. Turn off water flow and let sit for one hour before turning flow back on.
Note: This mixture is also effective in killing just about anything you put it on, including out of control xenia, polyps and even some hair algae types.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE LEMON JUICE!!!
lemon juice is extremely acidic
saltwater aquariums + acidic = your system crashes
we like to keep our PH above 8.0 Why on earth would you squirt some extremely acidic lemon juice into your aquarium??

I could imagine that would happen if the tank was rather small or HUGE ammounts of LJ was used.. Example.. If you used 2ml for each one and killed 10.. I dont really see that 20ml of lemon juice in a 100 gallon is going to make much of a problem.. Must have poured a bottle in or it was one of those "diver caught in the clam" stories..
