what is this thing, it is about the size of half dollar, has one white stripe on it's back and look like a slug help please

thanks for the help. we've never seen this before and who knows when we'll see it again. i wonder how long we've had it. that's why i love this hobby. you never know what you'll find.

very glad that we now have a new 180gal that reef will be moving to, just googled scutus and if gets to 12cm it is going to need the bigger tank lol

did not see the "scutus" today. is that a one time thing or do you thank it will be seen agan, and do i need move it (if i can find it) to the new tank when that move happens.

hay moved all of the live rock from the 75 to the 180 today and the scutus is in the 180, but it is now about the size of dollar. it was out for about two to three hours. it is a good cleaner.

can you retake a pic? does it look like it has a shell under the black mantel? it should not be the size of a dollar...i'm wondering if it's a flatworm

After looking up scutus, I would definitely go with scutus on the id. It is an exact match. Flatworms don't tend to have the long horns.
