So I'm 8w 6d pregnant and the dr thinks I'm having bp issues so on bedrest I go til she can see me. yay...
I hope that they can get the symptoms to go away. This is horrible. My face is tingling, I'm severely fatigued and dizzy. Blurred vision here and there. I have never been this miserable while being pregnant. Thank God my parents live across the street and can help out. I'll keep ya'll posted. Please keep me and the baby in your thoughts. Night!

This is my 3rd pregnancy and my bp was high yesterday. Today I'm feeling fairly fine. Just a little tired.

The best thing I can tell you is to relax.. i know its easier said then done. Get into tolerable position and chill. I'd much rather see you hypertensive than hypotensive.
Ill def be praying for you..

That's the plan. My husband is flipping out more than I am about it but I think that's because he's overseas and isn't here to be with me. I'm just chilling out in bed. The only time I'm getting out of bed is to get something to eat, drink or to use the restroom. Must be working because I feel a lot better today. No tingling in my face or dizziness.

Lots of prayers and hugs. My daughter had this for all 5 of her babies. They and her all turned out fine.

It's never been an issue with my past pregnancies. It's just weird how it came on with this one and so early into the pregnancy. As long as the symptoms don't stay I should be fine. My next appt is 17 days away but if these symptoms come back or get worse I have to go see the ER. So....just going to keep myself in bed like the dr ordered and try to keep things as stress free as possible around here.

I assume you are using a lap top...At least you wont get bored, just let hubby and mom care for the children and hang with us on the site. Can you see your fish tank from your bed or sofa?

Mom is... hubby would love to be but he's overseas right now. If I open my bedroom door I can see the rock and sand on the new tank that's cycling. My reef tank is in my dining room. And yes, I'm using a lap top sitting comfortably in bed.

O I forgot hubby is over seas...Hey, is it possible he could get leave and come home if you are sick? I THINK they relocate for certain reasons.

Yeah, but it has to be for emergency situations. This is not considered a major emergency so him getting home isn't possible.

Don't be too quick to poo poo it away. A Mom of two little kids on total bed rest for her entire pregnancy is an emergency...they don't need to know about Moms help, all she has to say is she can't do 24/7 and I am sure she can't.
It may be too soon because you haven't seen the doctor yet, but this whole thing could turn out to be a blessing. You never know, its just a thought if you land up on total bed rest for the whole time..

Oh I'm not poo pooing it away. I just know that as of this moment it's not considered an emergency. I have faith that things will work out just fine. I knew that I was going to be doing this by myself when we decided to have another baby. I'm ok with it. With the support of my family being across the street, it has made this deployment a lot easier. The Army exhausts all other options before sending a soldier home for emergency leave.
