Hubby caught me setting up baby tanks. I took the twenty gallon I use for bigger babies down and set two tens up in its place. That way I can switch them back and forth.
One of these days he is going to kick me out.

I just went out and bought a 2.5 gal, and a 10 gal, with air pumps filter, set up a brine shimp hatchery etc. im ready!
My girlfriend said great!

YUP...while I was tending to Bigun....my husband never had a hot dinner, all I did was the w/c's, treatments, and readthe boards for more help...he was so neglected HAHA

No, believe me when I say...she has NO IDEA. She looks at the pretty tank, but she has no idea I tell you. She has a keen eye to the fish and their health, but the whole hobby/cost in general...no clue.
But with all due respect, she would probably say the same thing about me in regards to her clothes/shoes/shopping....

My poor husband, I not only have 6 fish tanks, but I have 3 closets full of clothes and shoes....

OH....He hunts.....and YES, I know what that costs....I make sure he has EVERYTHING he needs

Ewwww.....that's my other hobby. Deer stands, camo, guns, Tinks 69 (I can smell it now

) She actually fusses more about this hobby than the fish tanks. I think because it requires time away from the house/screaming kids (which is part of the reason for the hobby...hello)

Tinks ... *barf* ugh, my dad used to use this and I can still smell that awful smell just at the mere mention of that product.

LOL...I have bought many a bottle of the tinks....and yes,,,MY hobby keeps me here..his is not...BUT...he begs me to go with him

I don't work so my boyfriend has to know what I pay for all this stuff. That is why I put a tank in HIS office so I can say that he HAS to pay for it, so HIS office space will be nice looking.
But you make the man think it was THEIR idea... That way I CAN'T get in trouble because we NEED these things for the fish. hahaha....
When the BF holds the wallet, you gotta be crafty.
He also knows that if I don't get what I want, he doesn't get fed.
