Jenny, Everyone is being nice, so in the spirit of honesty let my put on my Simon Cowell hat and give you my opinion.
Those are quite possibly two of the coolest things I have ever seen.
You mention that you want them to be abstract. Well let me tell you that they remind me of the song Imagine. The simplicity of the song is one part that makes it amazing, just a piano, drum and an incredible message in the simple words he uses. Your paintings are the same way, in their simplicity (which is a compliment not an insult). I can give no higher praise than that.
