Well I'm trying to reaed on them, and it says they prefer low-mod lighting, and prefers to attach to solid objects in soft, sandy areas....so does it go on a rock...or in the sand????

I have a 4 polyp duncan that I got about a month ago. I LOVE it. Mine is the neon green lookin kind. It came on a plug and I haven't detached it yet to glue it down anywhere. But on the plug it is superglued.
It likes a little flow and being on the bottom. Right now I have the plug wedged between 2 rocks on the bottom of the tank. I also feed it mysis when I feed my sun coral.
I'll be getting more later. I saw the ones in eye it and buy it but they are more than what I paid for mine.

I understand that but there are so many online stores that have different things. The only online coral I buy is from the same store because its all wysiwyg.

it looks ok. i like the long-tentacle duncans. very easy to grow under medium or high light. just feed each head once a week minimum.

I am with guppster and nycbob here, the color is a bit dull on that one, and the ones with the long tentacles are more appealing to me also. Common names Daisy coral and Whisker coral. Never had one so can't give you any first hand knowledge, only what I like aesthetically.
Same with the brains, never have owned one so I could could add is some reading knowledge.
Which tank would these go into?

In that case I would go with the duncans.(however those are not that colorful) The brains are sand dwellers and really don't like to have any critters push sand on them (coughstingcoughraycough)
