Are we talking 6 months?   A year?

Most of the time, I recommend a year for things like clams and anemones. Has it been done in shorter spans of time? Yes. Is it worth the risk? Usually not.

WOW it is very bleached. Look forward to seeing it color up some. Do feed it once or twice a week in the state it is in to help it regain some of it's zooxanthellae.

Yeah....it is kinda whitish :( I tried to feed it this morning but it was in a crevice...I turned the rock over when I got home today....maybe I'll go get it a small piece of scallop and see if it takes it

kinda?
That suckers whiter than white!
It's really not.....I was just looking at it and it has a yellowish tint to it.....the angle I have to take the picture at makes a glare making it look whiter I believe
I may try to take a picture after the MH is out.....or after all lights are out and see if I could pick up the yellow tint

Haha, you will love it when the colors develop. My largest is hunter green, yellow, and rich purple. It started out about like yours! It will be fun.

Look, that sucker is bleached. It is gonna need some real care to get it back into healthy shape. Have a look here at what they should look like.

Spanko, it that was directed at me, I have no doubt that it is severely bleached and will need some TLC which you covered in your previous post.
I just think it will be cool to see how it looks healthy.
My bleached one I have had the longest and is by far my brightest and most vivid.
