Are they helping getting the other fish out of hiding more??
My fish don't hide, only when I get the camera out...LOL
So far everyone is doing just fine. The fins don't look any more chewed up than it was, so I guess they established the pecking order among themselves. The new coral (ruffled leather) was opening, but drew back up...Phosphates are .02 ....So I took the phosban reactor from the horse tank, replaced the media and put it on the 90g. I have a small phosphate reading on it but 0 on the horse tank.
Next purchase is another reactor to contol phosphates on both taks at once.

I'm wondering were do you think the phosphates are coming from?

Frozen foods, I rinse but it still makes a tiny amount, and over months it climbs to a 0.02 level...LOL...I like 0 I never had a phosphate problem and don't want one.
I got a duel reactor so I can run my carbon at the same time and not depend on my nylon stocking getting enough water running thru it....The only worry is that it comes with a wrench that fits the canisters...letting me know I might have to get a man to twist it off to change it once a month.

You know that is test I never thought to purchase. I have always thawed mysis and plakton in RO water, but not the other frozen foods. I think I need to get a kit and start testing for that, or just bring some water to LFS. Think I will just see first from LFS.

Flower, they look fantastic. I want a few of these for the 110 as well.....but probably only three for me. More pics, please!

LOL...more pictures.
I was very worried after the warnings of them not making it from everyone else who had them. These are very healthy and they all made it past the one week dead line for dropping off one by one. They are good eaters and only fight among themselves. Pecking order they say...they had nibbled their flowing tails to normal size fish tails.
Excuse my makeshift spraybar...it works so good I left it in there

Their tails should have a black long tip to them. They are a beautiful blue.
It's early morning so the corals are not bloomed for the day.

I just had to toss these next ones in:
Here is one of my horses enjoying the macro field

Here is a nice closeup of the red macro...they look like roses to me, I love the little bumps(I'm giving some of this away..it's time to harvest..do you want some?)

Very nice Flower, they look healthy except one guy has some redness around it gills. No ick, I once got fish that went threw QT in just 3 weeks with no problems, my clowns.

Funny, I can't tell from the pics that there is any redness there. You must have better eyes than me!
Flower, I think I'll take a pass on the macro. With the amount of coral I have in my horse tank, I want to be sure that I can easily prune any macro. The fern caulerpa I have is probably enough for me to handle right now.
If I ever get to set up the pipefish tank, though, I'll let ya know. THAT one is intended to be a macro tank with mainly C. prolifera "seagrass."

Thats just the camera, no redness on that guy at all. If you notice he is truning as the picture was taken and his blue reflected weird and came out looking purple. They don't have just a blue color..it is iridescent and kind of reflects blue light, away from the light they look grey...then they swim into the light and it dances on them. Its the kind of blue around the lemonpeels eyes and gills...that blue refects as well.
The way they nip at each other I'm surprised they don't drip blood.
Nova...That was my idea as well, no coral for this tank...just the macros. The prolifera "sea grass" is growing real nice....I want to train it to go up the branch rock a little more before I harvest it...the horses just love it.

Well I hope they stop soon, like my mother use to tell us boys "You guys better stop before someone gets hurt"
I see them fighting and chasing each other in the moonlights. In the daylight they just kind of swim together. It looks like the tail fins are growing back already. I am not going to get in the middle of their fish fight, they all went in at the same time, so it isn't like they had an established spot to defend.
