They will all be packed in a good styrofoam container with heat packs. They'll be just fine. Make sure you follow acclimation proceedures to the letter.

First, where are you planning to order your livestock. And second, I'd say about 90% of livestock that order over the internet do survive as long as someone is their on the day of delivery. Also proper acclimation like saltwaterfish.com offer have a instruction on how to acclimate livestock properly on this website and when your order arrive. I know that because I've order livestock stock here so many times and 90% of the time that I order here in this website my livestock is successful. Plus when you order here they have a heat pack that they place inside the box and they also have 15 day guarantee.
Good Luck. Hope this help your motivate yourself.

I order from SWF in the winter and I live in Ohio. The stuff will be cold when it gets to you but should do fine.

I really question whether it's a good idea to order when it is cold. I live in Tucson and even though it doesn't get as cold as most places (30-70) i have never received anything that wasn't dangerously cold. In fact I ordered from this site and the items arrived cold even though they were packed in styrofoam and with heat packs. The heat pack were cold also. After tracking the item I found that it arrived from Florida to Memphis (hub) at 11pm at night and sat there for about 5 hours before going on to Tucson. The water was 68 degree. Although everything was healthy (hawaiian trigger and mushroom ricordea). It was touchy acclimating for about 6 hours but everything was ok. It was a bit scary and it makes me question whether some shipping destinations to cold climates might fair worse.
