I knew i found the worst fish store when i asked for 4 scarlet reef hermits and all they gave me was 1 hermit and 3 empty shells. These same people sold a guy with a 2 week old tank 1 yellow, purple, blue and sailfin tang. They also sold another customer a neon velvet damsel and told him that it was not agresive at all. The only reason i go there is because they sell 3 bluelegs for a dollar.
On a different note, i found a great lfs in miami. I sent my mom in and asked to ask about flowerpots and try to buy one. I was hiding in the Freshwater section of the store and i over heard the guy telling my mom that he couldn't sell her the flower pot becuase it would die. This passed tuesday i went back in and found a beutiful button polyp rock, that looked alot like a flower pot. Then some guy walked into the store, asked for help, and asked the guy there for the button polyp. The guy trying to buy the coral had no lights, had no clue what his water quality was, and had no clue about corals. The lfs guy could have easily sold it to the guy for 50 dollars, but instead since he saw i was looking at it, he told the guy that i was already buying it.He sold it to me at 5 dollars above cost at 30 dollars so the other guy could not buy it.
