My kids have the most expensive whine I've ever...oh wait a minute you mean wine? 1985 Sterling Cab Reserve..$200 a bottle and I got the pleasure of drinking it at the vineyard overlooking Napa Valley.....very nice memory :D

Impressive Anthem! :) ~$1000.00/bottle
now 1945 runs a little bit more at ~$11,000.00/bottle
David...not so impressive at $2.00/bottle and if thats the MOST expensive bottle you have drank...I think I will hang with Anthem :D

Well, this is sorta a "extra" hobby for me. I have been colecting since i was a lad. I dont drink any of them. But the most expensive was probably the first one i got. Now, i think its worth $1000-3000. Havent checked the price in a while. Its from 1961. Again, dont drink it, just collect it. Cool hobby. Does anybody else collect them? I dont want to be the only one on this BB who collects wine!

I am an amature conosseiur of wine tasting. I enjoy a nice bottle merlot every now and then. The most expensive bottles I buy are only around $80, but then again I am only 19. For the time being I will enjoy drinkin 12.99 bottles of Turning Leafe Merlot, which really isn't that bad for the price. Maybe when I get older I can further endulge this hobby. On another note I have drank from a bottle of Dom. That was a couple hundred.

Hey Blondnaso1, go to Canada! The drinking age there is 19! Not to get you drunk, just telling you that.

On our honeymoon we drank a bottle of Dom Perignon it was $130.00. A one time thing. I usually spend $7 - $15 for wine or champange. Actually I'm usually a beer drinker, Icehouse.

i think the average person calls it "vinegar". :D my wife and i had an alcohol free wedding and the last time i had a beverage that contained alcohol was when i was 5 yo and trying to sneak some of my dad's "soda" that he had already told me "NO!" <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" /> after losing the contents of my young stomach, no more for me :p

I shared a bottle of some ~$150 wine with a collector once but don't remember the name as it was ~9 years ago. We actually make our own wine from kits for everyday use so that we can buy the $30-$50 dollar bottles for special occasions. The stuff we make is the quality of ~$10 bottles, but only costs us ~$2.50/bottle. One day we hope to be able to have a nice collection of good wines, but not right now.

I used to be into collecting wines. When we 1st moved to california. The most expensive was around $50-$75. It never lasted very long in our house. Decided the $10-$15 bottled are just as tastey. Now I spend the extra dough on fish.

Hi, I live in the Uk and it is just a short trip to France, allegedly the land of fine food and wine, (Frogs legs and Snails..yuk) where I buy crates of Red wine from the French supermarkets at 99pence per bottle. Thats about 68cents, and its very tasty...or at least some of it is, the others you wouldn't clean your drains with.

I drank some Boones Farm once when I was 14. I got very sick. I did not drink wine again till I was 32. I like a nice glass once in awhile usually $15.00 a bottle. Am I missing something? :)
