Check it out I just bought this last thursday. It is a brand new ZX-6RR. Really cool bike. I swore I would never buy a 600 but let me tell you these new 600's really haul.

DUDE!! Beautiful bike. We had a 96 ZX-9R, a 95 CBR 900RR, a 95 ZX-7 Raptor, and a few Interceptors when they were popular. We are all still alive too. Well, my brother has a titanium femer now because of a run-in head-on w/ a taurus-ouch! I've sold a lot of bikes to a lot of people, and all I can say is keep the rubber side down! Be smart!

Thanks guys. I am one of 1000 lucky ones to get the limited edition RR. Can't wait to get it broke in. :D

Sweet slick! How does it compare to the Suzuki GSX-R 600? Now that I've got my 3-car garage, I'm planning on getting a GSX-R 750 and a Harley Davidson Fatboy so I can ride to fit my mood. Kind of like my cars now.

Tangman99, The GSXR 600 is a little outdated. Honda and Kawasaki both have brand new 600's this year and then there is the R6. The GSXR is still a great bike but not as trick as the others. My dealer told me the 750cc class won't be made much longer because everyone rides 600's or 1000's. I don't know if this is true or not but it is something to keep in mind. The GSXR 750 is a fast little thing as well.
serpentine5 not sure on the top speed (yet) but I think it is around 150 maybe a little more.

Wow very nice bike. Heres a pic of my 2002 YZF600. The hardest thing was to keep it below 6K rpms for the first 500 miles. Its a quick little bike but I really got to get it rejetted after I put the slip-on pipe on it, lost some low end power. Good luck with it and have fun.

Yeah that happens sometimes. The good thing about mine is it is fuel injected so hopefully I won't have that problem.

My next bike is definetly gonna be fuel injected. I've heard that throttle response is much quicker on a fuel injected bike. Are you planning on getting an aftermarket exhaust?

Yeah I ordered a Hindle exhaust for it. I know Hindle is not the top of the line but for $235 for the slip on I couldn't resist.

hmm did u ever check cycle world the gsxr 600 is the fastest 600 out of the pack and its not really outdated since it has been fuel injected for the last 2 years and this is the first year for the r6.
and the 600 is capable of speeds of 160+
