Just regular shrooms? Ive honestly never fragged any lol? They always spread into my sandbed and I hate them! I hate the blue shrooms in my 14 gal cuz they cover up my dang zoas! I gotta get rid of them...
But seems like ppl slice them like a pizza... Rubber band to something or siting in a cup or something with sand in them and let them attach.

tank is looking great!
Very unique! I like how it kinda has a mound shape to the rock with plenty of room for the fish to swim. Your choice of colored sand and rockscape reminds me of a planted freshwater tank. I think thats an interesting choice and the results is something I havent seen with a SW aquarium before. The green algae on the rock gives it a grassy look. Now that I'm looking at it again, it looks like an underwater island...the coral you have in the upper left of the rock looks like a palm tree. See what I mean? This is very, very cool.
And your dog looks awesome as the Dark Knight.

I never if thought of it, but you are right. I just saw the dark sand in my bro's FW setup and said it would like nice for SW. The arrangement of rock was to give Bob his swimming space but still get enough LR for filtration.
Thx, and very good observation!!
