Outside Glass Cleaning

Vinegar and water, mixed 50/50 in a new generic spray bottle. Works great!
Any "film" or streaks that are left on the outside glass can be wiped away with a piece of newspaper.

i put some rubbing alcohol on a rag and wipe away:)
windex is fine as long as your not spraying it directly on the aquarium, riscking that it will get in to your water.

We do aquarium service for over 100 tanks around our area and what we found works best/safest is to simply wet a paper towel with water, wipe down the tank, and dry with a new paper towel. We never get streaks and there aren't any dangerous things getting into the tank.
Windex has ammonia in it........bad for tanks.
